With the number of bike riders soaring higher each year, building developers are creating amenities to cater. In cities full of cyclists like NYC, developers are rolling out bike-specific features designed to make their properties stand out from the competition. Residents of the Midtown Manhattan apartments for rent at Gotham West, for example, have easy access to the “NYC bike shop Velo on the ground floor,” which offers “a bike porter concierge” as well as rentals, tune-ups, bike repairs, tire changes, and bike storage.
